GEMAPILEN® EK Series

Calcium Carbonate Filled Polypropylene Compounds

The GEMAPILEN® EK Series consists of 10% to 50% calcium carbonate–filled polypropylene compounds, manufactured with homopolymer, copolymer, or impact-modified grades. These compounds can be customized with a wide range of additives such as UV stabilizers, antistatic agents, flame retardants, surface treatments, and many other modifiers to meet specific application requirements.

The incorporation of special additives and calcium carbonate enhances the final product by providing rigidity, hardness, and strength, while also delivering cost efficiency.

Applications

The GEMAPILEN® EK Series is widely used in injection and extrusion applications, including:
